Among our many world-class services we provide outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, which helps patients achieve functional independence so they can effectively re-integrate within the community. This requires the support of professionals from many different healthcare disciplines and specialties.

As a Rehabilitation Aide, take part in the continuum of patient care in our dynamic acute care,inpatientand outpatientrehabilitationsettings. Under the supervision of a rehabilitation therapist,assistwith the care of patients of all ages and diagnoses inall settingsincluding several ICUs and our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.Duties will also includemaintainingtherapy areas by obtaining rehabilitation equipment,maintaininginventory ofsuppliesand restocking linen andmedicalsupplies.Providingtransportationof patientsto our rehabilitation gymmay be part of the daily duties.Candidates for thisposition should have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable interacting with patientsin the acute care and ICU settings.

This is a full-time position on the day shift, workingTuesday–Saturdaywith hours from8:30am -4:30pm.

Preferred Criteria

• Six months hospital experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED

• Knowledge of policies and procedures of Rehabilitation Medicine Department

• Demonstrated interest in working with Rehabilitation Medicine patients
