Registered Dietitian (RD) / Nutrition Support Specialist - NICU - Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital - Part Time - Day Shift
This position will focus on providing nutrition care for our NICU patients, specializing in our cardiac infant unit. This is a unique opportunity to care for an acute subspecialty patient population. Responsibilities include:

• Recommending parenteral and enteral nutrition regimens for optimal patient care

• Recommending nutrition interventions for all other assigned patients

• Precepting dietetic interns and education of staff

• Participating in projects and research

• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration

This is a part time, Monday-Friday, day shift position.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience in clinical pediatric nutrition

• Experience with NICU/pediatric nutrition support (parenteral & enteral nutrition)

• Certified Specialist in Nutrition Support, Pediatric Nutrition, or Pediatric Critical Care (CNSC, CSP, CSP-CC)

• Masters in nutrition, dietetics or related field

Required Criteria

• Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent and completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics

• Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian

• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• NYS Certification as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist (CDN)
