Quality & Patient Safety Specialist – Behavioral Health – Part-Time – Days
In this role, you will provide quality and patient safety consulting, analysis, improvement facilitation and program administration services for assigned internal client groups within the Hospital. Develop, implement, and improve programs to establish and maintain Quality and Patient Safety standards of existing products and services, as well as develop programs to focus on the care provided to patients. Research, collect and analyze internal and external data for decision making. Serve as subject matter expert regarding client’s quality and patient safety initiatives, significant event management, and goals in alignment with the Hospital’s strategic priorities.
This position will entail on-site work at our Behavioral Health locations, including our Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Westchester sites, with possible travel to other NYP campuses. The position will be part-time working 3 days per week.
Preferred Criteria
- Master's degree in a related field
- Clinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, or PharmD)
- Psychiatric Clinical Experience
- PMP or Six-Sigma/Lean
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- Excellent data analytics skills
Required Criteria
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare related position, preferably in Quality and Performance Improvement
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:
