Project Leader, Internal Audit - Audit & Compliance
Under the overall supervision of the VP/Director, and reporting to the Manager on specific audits or advisory engagements, with wide latitude for the use of independent judgment and initiative, the Project Leader will function as the key staff person responsible for developing the scope and audit procedures for an area of focus of the department such as Finance, Clinical Departments, Service Operations, Facilities, Procurement. You will identify and initiate departmental priorities in conjunction with the VP/Director and Manager in the area assigned. You'll supervises staff and/or outside consultants in conducting audit and advisory engagements throughout the New York-Presbyterian Enterprise. Communicate results to hospital executives, senior management, chiefs of service, and department heads.
This is a full time position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.
Preferred Criteria
- Masters degree
- Accounting degree
- CPA, CIA, CISA or CISSP
- Knowledge of information systems utilized in the health care industry, including implementation and application of these systems
- Analytical, detailed oriented and effective communication skills
Required Criteria
- Bachelor's degree
- Seven years finance, operations, and/or IT experience in a major hospital, healthcare care system/network or highly regulated industry, or seven years of other applicable consulting and auditing experience or a combination of the two
- Substantial knowledge of the health care environment and/or IT, a high degree of skills and experience with analytical techniques, and tools needed to solve problems

Salary Range:
