Project Lead – Digital Health & MyChart

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Project Lead to oversee Digital Health & MyChart applications. This role focuses on implementing and optimizing features that enhance patient engagement and clinical integration. The Project Lead will drive application implementations, maintenance, and user support, while aligning team efforts with executive priorities and identifying opportunities for improvement. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team—including clinicians, analysts, developers, and project managers—the Project Lead will guide system design, change management, and issue resolution. Success in this role requires deep Epic platform experience and a strong understanding of clinical workflows and business processes, serving as a key liaison across affiliated institutions.

Essential Job Duties
- Develops and maintains project plans, schedules and priorities to ensure timely delivery of information technology solutions.
 - Organizes project teams, sets project priorities, develops project plans, and maintains scope documents.
 - Provides overall direction and guidance, coordinates schedules and related project activities to ensure the work and documentation meet appropriate departments/service line standards.
 - Establishes and maintains communication with project team, users, committees/work groups, vendors and management.
 - Keeps management and department apprised of project progress, milestones and issue resolution.
 - Collaborate with department/project teams to assist in the design and implementation of internal operational policies and procedures resulting from project installations and upgrades.
 - Participates in strategic planning, development and budget meetings.
 - Create update and manage Project Plans for all assigned projects. Create and maintain Project Scope documents for all assigned projects.
 - Develops innovative approaches for dealing with customer needs that are also aligned with overall IS goals and objectives.
 - Provides day-to-day assistance/support to user community across the Hospital, including extracting and transmitting requested data and problem solving in a timely manner.
 - Monitors application systems to maintain peak efficiency.
 - Attends and participates in network-user, hospital, and departmental meetings as required.
 - Analyzes costs and benefits of proposed systems/system upgrades. May prepare quotes, requisitions, and make Purchase Orders requests. May be involved with Budget preparation.
 - May organize application testing, including validating test scripts, assigning team members to execute testing, collecting and manage testing-related issues which require vendor cases, and ensures issue resolution.
 - May gather and analyze business requirements, manage design, implementation and testing of custom applications.
 - If Video, develop high-quality audiovisual infrastructure construction drawings, details, cost analysis, and specifications language
 - If Video, should have intimate knowledge of audiovisual architectural requirements including but not limited to sightline studies, lighting, structural support requirements, cabling pathways, power and grounding.
 - Performs other job related duties as assigned.
 
This is a hybrid role, with four days in office and one day remote.
Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (or at least three years of equivalent experience)
 - Working knowledge of Hospital workflow and business process
 - PMP Certification
 
Required Criteria
- Three to Five years of previous work-related experience
 - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
 
- Willing to provide support during non-scheduled workday hours to ensure the operations of production systems in a 24 x 7 environment.
 - Minimum of two years of Project Management experience
 - Familiar with clinical work flow & medical administration
 - Ability to interact with various clinicians and physicians
 - System Design/Analysis
 - Must receive epic certification within 6 months
 - Strong project management skills

Salary Range:
