Project Leader Information Technology- Registry Outcome

Position Summary
The project leader of Registries and Outcomes Analytics coordinates the effective use of data, clinical registry, and regulatory reporting assets, services, and products for NewYork-Presbyterian. The project leader collaborates and coordinates with the directors and managers within Data Shared Service, Quality & Regulatory leadership, legal, Clinical operation users, and other IT departments to create comprehensive action plans/processes concerning resources, scope, and timeframes of registries and outcomes projects for New York-Presbyterian.
Essential Job Duties
- Builds relationships with multidisciplinary teams & TRAC Project Manager to ensure regulatory and registry requests proceeding through TRAC & ITPMO have received proper review and approval.
- Communicate with the Data Shared Service Leadership and key operation stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, objectives, and milestones.
- Participate in project design and implementation meetings, and propose improvements if necessary.
- Evaluate potential problems and technical issues, troubleshoot processes, and develop solutions to meet operational needs, including initiating registries and data transfers to/from the data platform.
- Plan and manage the project schedules.
- Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current.
- Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting agendas/minutes, and emails
- Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2-3 years of previous health care experience
- Experience working in a matrix environment
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
- Attention to details
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working in a matrix environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Experience working with the ServiceNow IT Ticketing System
- Experience with Epic or other Electronic Medical Record systems
- Prior data analytics experience

Salary Range:
