Program Manager - Service Line  - Cornell Campus

Located in the Upper East Side, Manhattan, NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center is an 862 bed medical center affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. As part of NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic healthcare systems. The Program for Intelligent Image-Guided Interventions (PI3) is a grant funded program with leaders from Colorectal Surgery, Interventional Radiology and Population Health pioneering a new way for delivery of care – bringing the future of care now.

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented and critical thinking Program Manager to support physician leaders, administrators, internal and external stakeholders and WCM research collaborators. Together, we will advance innovative work flows, support research compliance, and implement data-driven process improvements.

As the Program Manager, they will be responsible for co-leading the clinical and research arm of the program. Under the supervision of the administrative manager, they will be expected to serve as primary liaison for regulatory needs and submissions while coordinating referred patients to follow our innovative pathway from conference discussions to novel therapy/treatments they will require.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday Day Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with the flexibility of 1 remote day per week and expected to be in person 4 days a week

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Project Management experience

  • Familiarity with WCM IRB systems

  • Clinical knowledge in colorectal surgery, oncology, and/or interventional radiology

  • Experience navigating academic medical center research environments

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Biology or related

  • Five years or more clinical experience as a healthcare provider in a role such as Social Worker, Nurse, PT, OT, Care Manager

  • Experience working in a hospital setting

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and a high degree of flexibility

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$121,000-$169,000/Annual
