Privacy Compliance Specialist - Corporate Compliance
The Privacy Specialist is responsible for monitoring compliance with laws and regulations both at the federal and state levels for Privacy, participating in Privacy training, drafting revisions to related policies, and serving as a resource with regard to Privacy. In this role, you will identify opportunities to develop policies, procedures and training for Privacy programs, identify issues requiring follow-up and participate in special projects. In addition, you'll support the day to day operation of the corporate privacy function, including the review of communications received, identification of issues, any assigned investigation of potential issues, and where necessary, recommend or implement appropriate resolution or corrective action to the Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer.
This position is a full time position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.
Preferred Criteria
- Exposure to internal and external auditing,risk management and performance improvement
Required Criteria
Bachelor's degree
One to five years’ experience relating to Compliance and Privacy with a thorough understanding of compliance and privacy regulations
Knowledge and experience of government healthcare laws, regulations, and standards, particularly Medicare, Medicaid, and Privacy and Security regulations
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Salary Range:
