Prenatal Diagnostic Nurse Specialist (RN) - Full Time
Nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital means complex cases, rare technology - and a finely tuned, inspiring team with a care-giving approach. Across screening, diagnosis, treatment and care, our nurses drive the sharing of knowledge and practices that make a life-changing difference for patients.
In this role, you will assist in providing outpatient Prenatal Diagnostic testing to obstetric patients who meet the program's criteria. Teach and prepare patients for fetal non stress tests (NST) and utilize your knowledge to recognize and identify NST rhythms and irregularities. The Perinatal Diagnostics Unit provides a wide range of diagnostic services for normal and high-risk pregnancy from recognized experts in the field of maternal-fetal medicine.
This is a full time position, working Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Preferred Criteria:
- Previous experience with Non Stress Test Fetal Monitoring
Required Criteria
- At least 1 year of RN experience in critical care
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- Fetal Monitoring Certification
