Physician Assistant – General Surgery - Per Diem - Nights - Cornell Campus

Manage a variety of post-operative patients from different surgical sub-specialties, including mainly breast and plastics surgery.  In addition, you’ll also help manage trauma, acute critical care, general surgery, surgical oncology, colorectal, endocrine and bariatric surgery.

Work Schedule: 12.5 hour NIGHT shift with flexibility to work day shift as needed.

This per diem position is primarily for the general surgery inpatient floor service (NO operating or scrubbing opportunity) with the opportunity to cover SICU, Burn and Liver transplant services as needed.

Preferred Criteria

• Background in Surgery highly preferred

• Critical care experience as a Physician Assistant highly preferred

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies

• NYS licensure and NCCPA certification

• BLS/ACLS certification

• DEA certification
