Physician Assistant -DHKAmbulatory Surgery –Per Diem Flex/Rotational

The position would be to first or second assist in a multi-surgical specialties including:

·         General surgery

·         Urology

·         ENT

·         Ophthalmology

·         Breast surgery

·         Podiatry

·         GYN

·         Orthopedics

·         Neurology

·         Interventional Radiology (IR)

In addition, the PA is expected to work in thein the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to recover and treat any acute medical issues. 

This position requires a minimum of 2 shifts per month commitment to cover the following shifts – 7:00am to 4:30pm, 10:30am to 8:00pm, or 7:00pm to 7:30am. 

Preferred Criteria

• At least 1 year of surgical, IR and PACU experience

Required Criteria 

• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• Current NYS PA licensure
• NCCPA certification
• DEA Certification
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
