Physician Assistant - Behavioral Health - Full Time Days

In this role, the Physician Assistant will perform history/physical examinations, establishes presumptive diagnosis, and initiates the general work-up including the ordering of appropriate laboratory studies. Under physician supervision is responsible for the management of the patient’s medical issues following diagnosis, assist with hospital rounds, complete chart entries and records progress notes.  Take advantage of this amazing opportunity to advance your knowledge base and skills while working in a dynamic group of physicians. This is a full-time (Monday – Friday), day shift position.

Required Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Degree or major in Certified Physician Assistant

• Licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New York

• National Commission Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)

• Minimum of one year of post-degree course work and/or an internship and less than one year of previous experience

• DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) registration number

• BLS Certification
