Physician Assistant - Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Critical Care - Nights - Cornell Campus (Open to new grad & experienced PAs)

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a world-class academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, research, education and community service. Step into this role and gain experience covering a unique mix of cardiac patients including LVAD and heart transplant.   

We're seeking an enthusiastic new graduate or an experienced Cardiology PA for a hybrid position on the cardiac step-down taking care of advanced heart failure patients with cross training into the Cardiac Care Unit. Become a part of our collaborative team and advance your knowledge and skillset by working alongside some of the nation's leading Cardiologists/Heart Failure specialists.  

Shift: Three 12.5 hour night shifts per week with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.  

Preferred Criteria

• >1+ years of cardiology or critical care experience highly preferred 

• Passionate about cardiology and critical care 

• Experience with mechanical support devices (Impella, IABP, VADs) 

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program 

• Current New York State PA license 

• NCCPA certification 

• ACLS/BLS Certification
