Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehab, Acute Care, OP - Days - Cornell Campus

Join our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality rehabilitation for our patients throughout the continuum of care including acute care, ambulatory surgery, acute inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation.  Explore our many innovative programs including 22- bed Inpatient Rehabilitation, Burn Rehabilitation, Orthopedic/Trauma, Neurological Rehab, Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery and Outpatient Physical Therapy (Och Spine center and/ or our Musculoskeletal / Neurological rehabilitation area). Annual rotations include working on our many acute care units, ambulatory surgery, 22- bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and outpatient rehabilitation. This is a full-time position that will start on our inpatient rehab unit. The schedule will be determined but may include a Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday schedule, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.    

Preferred Criteria

• Experience with adult acute care and surgical protocols

• Experience in ICU settings

• Cardio-pulmonary experience

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy 

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy 

• New York State Physical Therapist License

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
