Together, they create customized care plans for each unique spine problem.
We are seeking a dedicated physical therapist to join our outpatient department, focusing on a diverse range of patients with spine dysfunction, orthopedic conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders. This role will primarily involve working with individuals diagnosed with scoliosis, kyphosis, and other structural spinal disorders, including both pre-operative and post-surgical cases, as well as non-surgical cases, spanning pediatric to adult age groups. The candidate hired for this position will play a key role in expanding access to scoliosis specific physical therapy care. They will work alongside skilled physical therapists with scoliosis specific training to grow and strengthen our program. This role emphasizes teamwork, growth, and continuous learning, with opportunities for training and development.
Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped to meet the unique needs of each patient, offering private, semi-private, and open gym spaces, as well as cardio, strengthening, and scoliosis-specific equipment. This is a full-time position with a combination of day and evening shifts required.
Preferred Criteria
Experience with treating a variety of spine and orthopedic diagnoses, including scoliosis in pediatric and adult patients
Training in Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis Specific Exercises (PSSE) such as BSPTS/Rego Concepts, SSOL, SEAS
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
Current NYS PT licensure
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
