Pharmacy Billing Analyst - Full Time - Days

Working with the Pharmacy Revenue Manager and alongside over 200 of the city's most experienced pharmacists, you’ll be able to make a different across all of our NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital campuses. You will verify administration records, reconcile charges, and perform root cause analysis for an charge and claim discrepancies. As a Pharmacy Billing Analyst, you will generate reports while maintaining accurate files, statistics, records and assist with training for incoming technicians, interns, and students. This is a full time days position working in our NYP Corporate location.

Preferred Criteria 

• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)

• Former Hospital pharmacy experience

• Certified Coder - CCS, CCA, RHIA or RHIT certifications

Required Criteria 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy, hospital, or healthcare environment

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, including data entry, retrieval, and management.
