Join a highly-skilled technical team of Laboratory Technologists in our Central Laboratory at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Performs a variety of automated and manual tests and related duties to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases, following established procedures. May be assigned to a specific area/section of laboratories or may rotate in all sections/areas.

This is a per diem position working an evening shift from 4pm-midnight. Scheduled days are flexible. 

Preferred Criteria

• ASCP certification

Required Criteria

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in Medical Technology or equivalent unless credentials are grandfathered in as life experience.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
