Per Diem Certified CT Technologist - Weekdays - Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate CT equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor.

While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Join us. Location: 3959 Broadway (at 165th Street), New York, NY 10032

Schedule: This per-diem position will provide coverage primarily on weekdays, with opportunities to work day or evening shifts based on department needs. Schedule will be developed on a monthly basis according to department staffing requirements and employee availability.

Preferred Criteria

  • At least two years of CT experience

  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

  • Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality specific software

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License with Intravascular Contrast Media Injection

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)

  • Ability to maintain all New York State and ARRT continuing education and credential renewal requirements
