Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner – School Based Health Center - Ambulatory Care Network/Columbia Campus

As an essential part of our Ambulatory Care Network (ACN), you will join a multidisciplinary team in a school-based health center setting to provide students with on-site access to comprehensive clinical services, including integrated primary medical, preventive, dental, and mental health care and a diverse array of health education and health promotion services. Utilize your two or more years experience in School Based Health Center & Reproductive Health to provide comprehensive physical examinations, first aid, immunizations, and management of chronic conditions as well health education; adolescent pregnancy prevention services and education.  We seek the ability to work & make decisions independently, problem solve, lead others & share innovative ideas. Great communication & organizational skills. 

School Based Health Center services are coordinated with the students, their parents, their pediatricians, and other community- based providers.

This is a 8am-4pm full time, day shift position for 12 months/year

Preferred:

  • Minimum of two years School Based Health or Adolescent Ambulatory Care experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Advanced Practice (PNP or FNP)
  • Current NYS RN and NP licensure
  • Board Certification (PNP or FNP)
  • BLS Certification through the AHA
  • Minimum of two years NP experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and triage skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$147,112-$158,187/Annual
