Client Relations/Patient Services Coordinator
Take on this highly visible role, serving as the initial contact at NYP responsible for facilitating appointments with providers, serving as a liaison between patients/families and hospital staff to facilitate communications, address requests and resolve issues. Advocate for patients and their families to ensure the delivery of top-notch care. Play a lead role in department-based initiatives, from the development of new policies and procedures to the implementation of performance improvement activities. Conduct investigations (including interviews) to fully understand patients’ needs and concerns, and recommend solutions (e.g., referrals to appropriate departments). This is a high-visibility position that demands tremendous interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Criteria
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and resolve patients’ issues
Required Criteria
• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university
• Five Years of previous experience
