Patient Flow Specialist Supervisor – Evenings - Cornell Campus
Oversee a growing team responsible for collaborating with various disciplines throughout our hospital to coordinate the admission, transfer and discharge of our patients both domestic and international. Work collaboratively with all members of the team of the assigned center and units to ensure high level patient care, optimal physician and patient satisfaction. Supervise the Patient Placement Operations Staff in directing, prioritizing, and innovative approach to patient flow.
Provide onsite administrative coverage for both WC PPOC and NYP Transfer Center.
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to assure optimal patient flow.
Oversee transfers facilitated by the NYP Transfer Center
Participate in data review and QI projects for both Transfer Center and WC PPOC.
Serve as resource for WC PPOC and the NYP Transfer Center
Shift: 7:30p.m. - 8:00a.m. Weekend and holiday coverage.
Preferred Criteria
Critical care experience
Required Criteria
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse with NYS License
Minimum of 3 – 5 managerial / leadership role i.e. previoussupervisor/ charge nurse
