Patient Care Director - RN - Main Operating Room - Day Flex

Step into the role of Patient Care Director where you’ll oversee the daily clinical operations of our main OR to ensure the delivery of high-quality and compassionate patient care to an increasingly diverse patient population. Seize this opportunity to become a transformational leader via shared governance. Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation and scheduling.  Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience. This is a full time position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria

• Leadership experience

• Previous acute care experience in the main operating room

• CNOR certification

Required Criteria

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a Master’s Degree, must obtain within 1 year of hire. Either bachelors or graduate degree must be in nursing

• Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain NYS licensure)

• 3 years clinical experience

• BCLS from the American Heart Association
