Patient Care Director - RN - Perioperative Services - Days

Step into the role of Patient Care Director for Pre-op, Intra-op, Post-op, and Endoscopy at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, where we’re bringing world-class resources to local care, for the 600,000 New Yorkers who live and work south of 14th Street. Be responsible for directing the daily operations of this 40-bed unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality and compassionate patient care to an increasingly diverse patient population. Engage, mentor, supervise and evaluate a highly collaborative team, and inspire their continued professional growth. Develop and manage budgets and identify process improvement to enhance the patient experience. Excel as a change agent, advancing initiatives focused on enhancing quality and performance throughout the unit.

This is a full time position working a 4 day work week at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.

Required Criteria

  • Master’s Degree, must obtain within 1 year of hire. Either bachelors or graduate degree must be inMaster's Degree in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a

  • nursing. 

  • Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain NYS licensure)

  • 3 years clinical experience

  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills are essential to success

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$150,000-$185,000/Annual
