Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics/Acute Care - Full Time - Cornell Campus

At Komansky Children’s Hospital, an important focus of our mission is providing outstanding medical care in a family-centered environment. The Pediatric Rehabilitation Therapy Team is integral in achieving that mission.
A successful candidate will demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients across the continuum of acute care settings. This includes experience treating medically complex children, including PICU Early Mobilization. NICU experience is a plus.
The hours for this full-time position are 8:30am-4:30pm with an alternating schedule, Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday and intermittent holiday coverage.
Preferred Criteria
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with pediatric patients (0-21 years old) in the acute care setting, including the PICU.
- Pediatric NDT Certification
- AOTA Board Certification in Pediatrics
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
- New York State Physical Therapy License
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
