Nurse's Aide - Inpatient Psychiatry - Part Time Evenings

Be the eyes and ears of our expert clinical team as a Nurse's Aide. In this role, the Nurse's Aide observes and documents patients' physical, emotional and social behaviors, reporting as necessary to the nursing team. The Nurse's Aide thrives at the bedside as invaluable care providers​. Maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients, expertly intervening in times of anxiousness and assisting them with their daily activities. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. The Nurse's Aide thrives at the bedside as invaluable care providers and complements the nursing process by assisting in the individualized care of patients. This is a part time, evening shift position (3:30pm - 12am), includes working rotating weekends.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$24.01-$25.3/Hourly
