Manager - Global Services

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Global Patient Services program, ensuring that international patients and their families receive the highest quality care and logistical support. You will lead a team responsible for patient coordination, concierge services, and cross-cultural communication, ensuring that every patient’s journey is seamless from the moment they inquire about care to their post-treatment follow-up.

Beyond managing daily operations, you will play a key role in expanding the program’s reach and reputation. You will work closely with embassies, consulates, international insurance providers, and referral organizations to strengthen relationships and attract more international patients to our hospital. Representing the institution on a global stage, you will attend conferences, foster strategic alliances, and identify new business opportunities that drive growth.

In addition to operations and financial management, you will be a key advocate for international patients. You will work closely with hospital departments to resolve concerns, ensuring a culturally sensitive and compassionate approach to patient care. You will also lead initiatives to enhance cross-cultural communication training for staff, equipping them with the skills needed to serve diverse patient populations effectively.

Preferred Experience

  • Master's Degree

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience

  • Communication and presentation skills to effectively interact in a cross-cultural setting while being culturally sensitive to international patients’ needs, concerns, and/or demands

  • Fluency (written and oral) in another language (e.g. Arabic, Spanish, etc.)

  • Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center

  • Strong program development experience with a talent for networking and relationship management

  • International business development experience

  • Ability to work on weekends, holidays and after normal business hours as needed

  • Ability to travel for business development purposes as needed

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$145,000-$193,000/Annual
