Manager, Central Ambulatory Operations – Columbia - Data Management Experience preferred

In this role, you will be responsible for management direction, administration of daily operations and strategy of cross-campus multiple programs within the Ambulatory Care Network including centralized clinical triage center (CCTC), centralized administrative pool (CAP) and central staffing office (CSO). The Manager of Central Ambulatory Operations takes the lead on assessing the state of staffing, forecasts trends, develops and implements policies and systems and manages resources. The Manager of Central Ambulatory Operations is responsible for budget and P & L responsibility, data analytics to monitor and improve operational efficiencies, program development initiatives related but not limited to patient centered medical home partnership with primary care sites, same-day appointment access, division wide clinical workflow re-design, and compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements. 

Preferred criteria

  • Master’s degree
  • Ability to demonstrate innovative solutions that can improve existing services, solve problems, and improve the ROI or productivity of healthcare business processes 
  • Proven record of ability to inspire and motivate a team, and collaborate effectively with others to complete tasks and solve problems

Required criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of ambulatory care, budgeting, patient and employee satisfaction, productivity and compliance
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication
  • Excellent leadership ability to conduct senior level meetings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and presentations
  • Excellent analytical and technical planning skills to address complex issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, make decisions and recommendations that impact project outcomes.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$95,000-$110,000/Annual
