Lead Certified Instrument Technician - Central Sterile Processing Department - Nights
In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operational activities of the Central Sterile Supply department under the direction of the Supervisor and Manager. Direct and support the Central Sterile processing staff to meet the objectives of the department. Prepare surgical trays and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner using established policies and procedures. Execute the cleaning, sterilization and assembly of equipment, supplies and instruments following prescribed procedures and techniques.
This is a full time, night position working 11:00pm-7:30am Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays atNewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS)
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
Minimum of 2 years Central Sterile Processing experience
