Make a lasting impression on our community youth at NewYork-Presbyterian as a Lang Youth Educator.  Assist in educating scholars with how to best get acceptance into college, explore careers in healthcare, and become future leaders who give back to their communities. Explore this opportunity:

Lang Youth Educator - Columbia – Per Diem - Days

Lang Youth Educators are responsible for developing, modifying, and implementing Lang Youth curriculum on Saturdays during the school year and/or Monday - Friday during the month of July. In addition, they must supervise Lang Scholars at all times at the Medical Center and on field trips. Other responsibilities include: writing progress reports for each of their students, attending weekly meetings, and supporting administrative needs of the Program. They should exemplify NYP values and model professional, appropriate behavior for Lang Scholars.

Preferred Criteria

• Spanish bilingual
• Teaching or youth development experience

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Currently have or working towards BA or BS
• Strong computer and presentation skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
