Laboratory Assistant – Microbiology - Full-Time - Days

Bring your talents to our tight-knit team and provide the support our Laboratory Technologists need to complete tests that drive high-quality care and caring. As a Laboratory Assistant you can help provide quality patient care by accessioning, processing requisition forms, separating samples into aliquots, labeling specimens, and distributing specimens to the appropriate laboratory departments for testing in this highly visible position. 

This is a full time position, working Tuesday - Saturday with hours from 8am - 4pm. Location is our Weill-Cornell campus on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Preferred Criteria

• Some college or technical courses

• Laboratory processing experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills   

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED

• Prior data entry experience
