Labor Relations Manager
In this role, under the guidance of the Director of Labor Relations & Strategy, you will administer the collective bargaining agreement and ensure consistency in application, interpretation while advising, and counseling management regarding contractual obligations and agreements. You'll provide consultation on grievances, serve as Step 3 grievance officer, initiate and maintain satisfactory relations between the respective union leaders and management. In addition, support contract negotiations, support in-house labor relations training, manage grievance procedures, facilitate labor management committees, and administer daily labor/management relations.
This is a full time position, working on-site up to 2 days at our Queens hospital, 2 days at our Corporate office (mid-town Manhattan), and the ability to work 1 day remote.
Preferred Criteria
Master’s Degree from a recognized college or university
Project Management experience
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from a recognized college or university
6 years Human Resources experience with emphasis on Labor Relations
In-depth knowledge of Labor Relations and working knowledge of contractual obligations and implementation
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and writing skills and demonstrated aptitude for labor related problem solving and policy setting

Salary Range:
