IT Analyst III – Inpatient Digital Experience

As an Information Technology Analyst III, you will design, implement, analyze, and modify new and existing business intelligence programs/systems for business or patient care needs as it relates to NewYork-Presbyterian’s Inpatient Digital Experience. You will also ensure the performance, integrity and reliability of system components. In addition, you will determine user specifications for reporting and project needs and work independently in a professional, high-tech environment to oversee sophisticated and specialty technology. Requires experience working with enterprise systems such as the Epic platform as well as, the applicable clinical and/or business workflows. Additional responsibilities include:

• Work with a variety of stakeholders to scope, implement, and monitor projects
• Perform problem analysis and troubleshooting
• Update and maintain project plans and documentation
• Escalate complex issues appropriately
• Participate in testing of software and hardware
• Assist with go-live support Partake in On Call support rotation

Some examples of projects/programs the Inpatient Digital Experience Team supports are:

• Inpatient remote consults
• Virtual nursing
• Remote monitoring
• Integration of hardware with Epic

This is a full time position, working 4 days a week mostly out of our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan; reporting to NewYork-Presbyterian hospitals as projects require. Ability for 1 day remote a week.

Preferred Criteria

• Master's degree 
• ITIL
• PMP

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's degree 
• 5 years previous work related experience
• Epic Module Certification in job related module(s) (Obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed annually)
• Ability to work withing a team environment
• Excellent analytical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
