HR Connects Advisor – HR Shared Services – Benefits Administration

The Shared Services Benefits team is responsible forBenefits Administration. Together with the Benefits Center of Excellence (COE) Team, you will ensure that all benefits programs are successfully executed, seamlessly integrated with hospital operations, and accessible to employees. You'll help to provide the necessary feedback from our employees to the Benefits Team which helps to manage vendor relationships. With a primary focus on enrollment processes, handling system configurations, and employee communications; you will focus on the practical application of benefits offerings. Bridge the gap between concept and reality, ensuring that employees can fully utilize their benefits as intended. The HRC Benefits team and HRBP connect when it comes to any and all employees benefit issues or concerns, regardless of position, department, or campus. The only questions you may not need to assist with are healthcare questions (medical/dental coverage) for some union groups.   Step into a culture of high performance!

The hours for this position are 10:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday and alternating Saturdays. This is a five (5) day-a-week position.

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous human resources experience and/or internship experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Criteria

  • Associate’s degree or relevant experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Time management and ability to adhere to deadlines

  • Ability to report audit findings to stakeholders

  • Desire to interact with employees across the hospital

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$27.00-$39.50/Hourly
