Financial Analyst – Business Planning – Corporate Location (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Develops and assists in the Rolling and Long-Term Plan forecasting processes. Provides support in the development and maintenance of Profit and Loss statements for physicians in the NYP Medical Group. Performs analyses related to resource utilization and the evaluation of Business Plans and funding requests.
The role is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s rolling and long‑term forecasting models, while partnering closely with the Accounting team to ensure the Strata forecasting tools align with internal financials. It also provides essential support in profit and loss analyses for Medical Group physicians by gathering and synthesizing data from multiple sources to deliver timely, accurate estimates across NYP’s four medical groups. The position leads the creation of financial profitability analyses, collaborates with stakeholders across the NYP enterprise on Business Plans, CONs, and funds flow, and monitors Business Plan performance against actuals. Additional responsibilities include analyzing staffing requests and expenses, developing standards for resource distribution, recommending updates to policies and procedures, and performing other job‑related duties as assigned.
Preferred Criteria
Degree or major in Finance
Minimum of two to three years of previous experience
