Executive Legal Assistant - Legal Affairs and Risk Management
The Executive Legal Assistant in the Office of the Corporate Secretary assists in performing various administrative duties for Board of Trustees and standing Committees to ensure effective planning and coordination of activities to meet institutional objectives, according to established procedure. In this role, you will ensure the Board and Board Committee meetings are scheduled, meeting notices, agenda and meeting materials are prepared and distributed, and assist Attorneys in preparation of official minute books. In addition, you will support the department's electronic database of Hospital governance and other documents to ensure appropriate retention of corporate records. You will assist the team of Attorneys, including but not limited to calendaring of internal and external meetings and reviewing correspondence.
This is a full time position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.
Preferred Criteria
- Notary Public
Required Criteria
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Five years of secretarial and administrative experience with prior experience working with Senior Executives and/or Attorneys
- Computer proficiency with knowledge of Windows-based computer applications
- Ability to analyze organizational and administrative problems
- Analytical ability to gather and summarize data
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work
- Excellent communication skills

Salary Range:
