Director Supply Chain Logistics and Technology - NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center

In this role you will report to the SVP of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing and will be responsible for strategic oversight and management of supply chain logistics and technology for the Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Department. Ensure the development and achievement of goals, which are aligned with the objectives of the Hospital. Manage campus-based hospital supply chain staff in receiving, internal distribution, replenishment, shipping, general stores, strategic planning, strategic inventory management and control, and equipment center operations. Maintain effective communication with hospital executives, department heads, suppliers, and appropriate others to ensure effective departmental operations.  Drive supply chain standardization of best practices across the enterprise.

Preferred Criteria

  • Supply chain experience in healthcare
  • Experience with supply chain technologies such as RFID, ERP/MMIS, Point of Use.
  • Experience working with senior executives/leaders
  • Experience managing a large number of staff
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or other advanced degree

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics and inventory management and systems with a proven track record of results in a substantial organization
  • Planning/project management skills– ability to plan/coordinate day-to-day execution of materials/inventory management
  • Strong management and leadership skills with an emphasis on developing people
  • Analytical skills—ability to understand and define most critical issues and develop methodologies for collecting and analyzing relevant data (i.e. in-stock rates, delivery times)
  • Knowledge of inventory management or materials management systems
  • Ability to interact with and address the needs of internal clients

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$203,500-$242,500/Annual
