Director of Nursing – RN - Maternity Nursing- Sloan Hospital for Women- Full Time

As the Director of Nursing, you will directly contribute to and provide the leadership to ensure optimal patient outcome, financial performance, and efficient operations of Labor and Delivery, Ante Partum, Mother Baby and a Level IV Neonatal ICU.
As Director of Nursing, you will drive the delivery of our patient-focused nursing and ancillary staff, maintain an environment that fosters shared governance and performance at the highest level. Working collaboratively the Director of Nursing will design, implement, and ensure compliance with evidence-based policies, practices and quality initiatives.

This is a full-time position at NewYork-Presbyterian / Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital
Preferred Criteria:
- American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification
Required Criteria
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. Either bachelor’s or graduate degree must be in nursing.
- A minimum of five years’ progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration with significant current experience in Labor and Delivery and OB
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with physicians to drive strategic/business planning and financial and operational performance
- Current AHA BLS
- Current New York State RN license

Salary Range:
