At this Magnet-designated hospital, the Clinical Program Coordinator meaningfully contributes to changes in nursing practice and patient care by designing and leading activities, initiatives, and projects aimed at developing staff, enhancing workflows, and supporting quality improvement.

By serving as an expert clinical resource and a dynamic facilitator, the Clinical Program Coordinator provides leadership within the service line, guiding, coaching, and mentoring nursing teams at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. This role effectively promotes and fosters collaboration across nursing, physicians, and the broader interdisciplinary care team and ensures accountability with structured approaches to assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care and practice.

Focus includes quality, safety, experience, and education.

Partners with the Quality & Patient Safety department to meet Quality metrics in conjunction with Hospital initiatives

Schedule includes 10-hour days (4 days a week) and the position must be flexible to working on weekends, and/or nights/evenings occasionally to accommodate operational and/or strategic priority needs of the department/service line.

Preferred Criteria:

Master’s in nursing or related field.

Critical care Experience , ICU

Required Criteria:

BSN

Current NYS RN Licensure

5-7 years’ experience

Expertise with Joint Commission regulations and certification requirements

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$103,300-$158,900/Annual
