Compliance Specialist - Compliancy and Privacy

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for monitoring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations related to Corporate Compliance and Privacy, including participating in Compliance and Privacy training, drafting revisions to related policies, and contributing to exciting special projects. The Specialist serves as a resource for Compliance and Privacy, identifies opportunities to develop policies, procedures, and training for Compliance and Privacy programs, and addresses issues requiring follow-up. The Specialist supports the day-to-day operation of the campus-level compliance and privacy function, including reviewing communications received, identifying issues, investigating potential issues, and, where necessary, recommending or implementing appropriate resolution or corrective action to the Director of Campus Compliance.

This position is a full time position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan and the ability for 1 day remote.

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One to five years’ experience relating to Compliance and Privacy with a thorough understanding of compliance and privacy regulations
  • Knowledge and experience of government healthcare laws, regulations, and standards, particularly Medicare, Medicaid, and Privacy and Security regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$78,000-$112,500/Annual
