Clinical Specialist - Physical Therapy – Days - Cornell Campus (Monday - Friday)

The Rehabilitation Medicine Department at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is one of the largest in the nation. In addition to the duties and responsibilities of a physical therapist, the Clinical Specialist serves as a clinical resource to staff, provides input to clinical programming, and participates in departmental and hospital education programs and service excellence initiatives. Must have well-rounded experience working in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. The ideal candidate must have experience working with a variety of diagnoses including patients with stroke, post-surgical protocols, trauma, oncology and complications related to an ICU stay.
This is a full- time position with shifts on Monday-Friday, 8:30A - 4:30P, with intermittent weekend and holiday coverage.
Preferred Criteria
5 years of experience working with a variety of neurological diagnoses
Experience working on acute care services, cardiopulmonary and inpatient rehabilitation.
Required Criteria
2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
New York State Physical Therapy License
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Salary Range:
