Pursue this supervisory role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of centralized formula preparation for infant and pediatric patients: 

• Ensuring safe and accurate preparation of special formula, completing quality assurance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Supervising and training a team of nutrition technicians and fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Assessing workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement for operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in using third-party barcode scanning/centralized preparation programs.
• Monitoring budget and expenditures.
• Assisting with the inventory management of formula and supplies.
• Working on the expansion of scope projects as needed.

Preferred Criteria

• Previous experience with centralized feeding preparation areas/working in a children’s hospital setting.
• Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP). 

Required Criteria

• Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree granted by a U.S. regionally-accredited college/university or foreign equivalent.
• Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Dietetic Education (CADE) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN).
• Minimum of 5 (five) years of progressive clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Management skills and oversight of direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, young adult, adult and geriatric patients.
