Pursue this supervisory role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of centralized formula preparation for infant and pediatric patients:
- Ensuring safe and accurate preparation of special formula, completing quality assurance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Supervising and training a team of nutrition technicians and fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Assessing workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement for operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in using third-party barcode scanning/centralized preparation programs.
- Monitoring budget and expenditures.
- Assisting with the inventory management of formula and supplies.
- Working on the expansion of scope projects as needed.

Preferred Criteria
- Previous experience with centralized feeding preparation areas/working in a children’s hospital setting.
- Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP).
Required Criteria
- Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree granted by a U.S. regionally-accredited college/university or foreign equivalent.
- Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Dietetic Education (CADE) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics
- Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN).
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of progressive clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
- Management skills and oversight of direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, young adult, adult and geriatric patients.
