Komansky Children’s Hospital inpatient units include general pediatrics, pediatric stepdown, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Pediatric nurses at Komansky Children’s Hospital have a commitment to excellence, providing patient and family-centered care. As the PICU Clinical Manager, you will lead a Magnet designated nursing team and collaborate with the transformational leaders of the entire Pediatric service line, working closely with the three units’ Patient Care Directors and fellow Clinical Managers.
This Clinical Manager position is for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as well as provide Pediatric service line support at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center Komansky Children’s Hospital.
This is a full time 10-hour Night Flex shift position 4 shifts a week (including weekends with flexibility to meet the needs of the unit). 
Preferred Criteria:
·         Previous management experience 
·         Master’s in Nursing or related field. If Master’s in Nursing, BSN can be preferred.
·         American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification
·        
Required Criteria
  • At least two years of Pediatric Critical Care experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS certification
  • PALS Certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$130,000-$155,000/Annual
