The Clinical Nurse Manager role is a great opportunity for an ICU Nurse with a passion for leadership. Take the next step and impact the field of nursing alongside the world’s finest healthcare professionals at our Magnet® designated institution. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will guide this fast-paced unit in delivering high-quality care to patients in the Medical ICU and Medical Stepdown at NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Collaborate with two transformational Patient Care Director’s to establish short- and long-term goals for their units. Help mentor new staff and inspire at team of nearly 30 per shift to maintain the units above average patient and employee satisfaction ratings.  This role collaborates with all levels of leadership to facilitate efficient, cost-effective unit operations.

Schedule/Shift This is a full time, 4-day/wk position, Evening shift position working varied start and end times
Flexibility in shifts and days

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • CCRN Certification

Required Criteria

  • At least two years of ICU RN experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
  • BCLS certification
