Clinical Nutritionist - Registered Dietitian - Cornell - NICU - Part Time - Day Shift

In this role, you will use your expertise to provide care to nutrition-related neonatal ICU and maternal health patients. You'll support patients in receiving appropriate and timely nutrition intervention to help them during their hospital stay and prepare them for safe discharge home. In addition, provide care to 60 Neonatal ICU beds, 75 obstetric beds, and NICU one-month nutrition follow-up clinic for early interventions post discharge. You will also precept students enrolled in NYP’s Dietetic Internship program.

Registered Dietitians are respected members of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. In addition to developing nutrition treatment plans that ensure optimal care in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements, you will have the opportunity to educate dietetic interns and staff, helping to develop future clinicians.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree
  • Inpatient NICU experience

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
  • Current registration with the CDR
  • Current certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$43.30-$53.10/Hourly
