Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk receives, reviews, and processes invoices for hospital purchases. Receives vendor’s invoices and other related mail in accordance with established procedures. Enters invoices and matches to purchase orders and receiving documents in accordance with established procedures. Maintains communication with outside vendors and other hospital departments in a courteous and tactful manner to reconcile differences between purchase orders and invoices, answer questions, obtain information, etc. Obtains authorization pay corrected invoices from Supervisor or appropriate others, as necessary. May review periodic statements and/or computer reports to monitor accounts.

This is a full time day position located at our Midtown Manhattan Corporate Offices.

Required Criteria
