Cardiovascular Service Line Liaison

As a member of NYP‘s Enterprise Growth Strategy, Planning and Network Development team, the Liaison is responsible for forming, growing and maintaining long-term partnerships with community providers including but not limited to physicians, physician practices, urgent care facilities, and medical specialty groups.  The Liaison will enhance and support NYP and Weill Cornell’s efforts to provide seamless care continuum for patients and continue to position NYP & Weill Cornell as the preferred provider for patients and referring providers. The Liaison will provide a targeted approach to Cardiovascular Service Line growth with initial focus on Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn.

The Liaison will meet regularly with referring physicians with the goal of improving health outcomes for shared patients and the community.

The Liaison is dedicated to providing information and facilitating communications between the NYP team and referring physicians and their staff regarding programs and services provided within the cardiovascular service line.

Preferred Criteria

  • (RN, PA, NP) or Master’s Degree

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of experience with proven record within the cardiovascular service line environment preferably with business development experience. 

  • Successfully demonstrated meeting quotas/goals. 

  • Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information. 

  • Excellent written and verbal, communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. 

  • Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results. 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle for transportation and be willing to travel.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$145,000-$193,000/Annual
