Data analytics team is looking for a versatile developer to perform various roles related to the growth and maintenance of the NYP Enterprise Data Warehouse. The candidate should have a strong programming skill set (SQL, .NET, Java, etc.), solid experience with data warehousing and exposure to BI tools, preferably in a health care setting. Thorough understanding of data architecture and logical data modeling is a must, as well as the ability to think conceptually in order to formulate effective and scalable data warehousing solutions. It is essential that the candidate be able to work well in a cross-team collaborative environment, with little oversight, and be able to engage stakeholders with various technical backgrounds. Prior experience with Big Data and NoSQL databases is a plus, since the ideal candidate would be able to design solutions across traditional and new data warehousing platforms.

Required Criteria:

  • 8 + years working with multiple DBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Teradata, etc.)
  • Data Science and analytics experience such as Machine Learning and Semantic Search a plus
  • Experience in several Surrogate Key / ID management strategies utilized in analytical environments
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment affecting data in a Health Care Services environment (e.g., HIPAA 5010)
  • Process modeling experience
  • Understanding of Big Data paradigm and NoSQL databases
  • Prior experience with Master Data Management, Meta Data Management, and/or canonical modeling

Salary Range:

$122,000-$174,000/Annual
