Job Title: Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and presenting comprehensive reports derived from our asset database. This role requires a strong understanding of biomedical engineering principles, data analysis, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from the asset database to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
  • Report Creation: Develop detailed reports that summarize findings, including visualizations such as charts and graphs to effectively communicate data insights.
  • Presentation: Present reports to stakeholders, including management, clinical staff, and other relevant parties, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations.
  • Asset Management: Monitor and maintain the asset database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather necessary data and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance data reporting and asset management.

Required Criteria:

  • Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics or a minimum of five years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of patient medical devises
  • Two years of Biomedical Engineering experience or internship

  • 2-3 years’ experience in biomedical engineering, clinical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with asset management systems or databases.
  • Experience in data analysis and report creation, within a healthcare or biomedical setting.
  • Able to spot trends and group medical devices into relevant ECRI categories.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in biomedical and clinical engineering.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, clinical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of data design, architecture, and relational databases.

$74,000-$111,000/Annual
