Associate Human Resources Business Partner - Gracie Square Hospital
The Associate Human Resources Business Partner (ABP) plays a vital role of providing guidance and support on a wide range of strategic operational and human resources issues. In this role, you will provide coaching, development and support to your assigned client groups of leaders with a focus on supporting employee needs. You'll serve as a point of contact for people related issues under the supervision of the HR Director.Provide support for a broad spectrum of human resources activities such as talent review, calibration, workforce planning, employee relations, advice related to policies/processes, talent management, new leader coaching, on-boarding career development and change management. The ABP learns the business beyond the HR function and develops the necessary skills in order to become proficient in influencing and driving superior operations and business outcomes.
This is a full time position working 4 days on-site at our Gracie Square Hospital and the ability for 1 day remote.
Required Criteria
Minimum of two years relevant experience in Human Resources
Experience in recruitment, talent development and/or employee relations
Strong computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn new applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Preferred Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Certification reflecting proficiency in Human Resources (e.g. PHR or SPHR)
Current knowledge of law and regulations that govern Family and Medical Leave Act, New York State Short Term Disability, and Worker’s Compensation
Prior experience with Workday, Kronos, and UKGPro

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:
