Anesthesia Technician II - NYP Lower Manhattan Hospital- Evenings

We are currently seeking an Anesthesia Technician II to join our world-renowned team at our NYP/Lower Manhattan Hospital. Under the supervision of the Anesthesia Supervisor, provides support to the Anesthesiologists, and CRNA’s in all anesthetizing locations. Ensures that all equipment and supplies are available and assists with direct patient care activities under the direct supervision of the Anesthesiologist/CRNA’s. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. The shift will be 2pm-10pm .

Preferred Criteria 

· Certification by American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT)

·Training as an Anesthesia Technician

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds 

Required Criteria

· High School Diploma or GED 

· Experience as an Anesthesia Technician

· Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
